Solidarité et singularité au sein des équipes sportives

Abstract : Breaking with the pictures of an idealized solidarity given as evidence in sport teams, the article shows that cohesion is the result of a work adjustment of their members. Decisions, rather than being dictated in an inflexible way, are often subjects of negotiations, mutual evaluations and collective regulations during the action. Three major developments concern the way to be in a team ; the first concerns the transformation of the authority of the coach. Today he draws his authority from his ability to listen. The second refers to the greater autonomy of the players. Players are less defined by their allegiance to the same club than by a project that makes them interdependent for a limited time. The third change concerns the request of singularity. Players do not want to serve the collective if in return they can assert their individuality.
