Kantilal jivan shah, rayonnement interculturel d'un jaïn dans la société créole seychelloise

Abstract : Understand how the intercultural dynamics created and livens up the complex societies of islands and archipelagoes of Indian Ocean, requires a slow progress, by means of an anthropological approach which focuses gradually its attention on the individual, in a multicultural context. We discover the place of a Jaïn, infinitely respectful of the Nature, Kantilal Jivan Shah, the « Big wizard of the Indian Ocean », member of the gudjerati Diaspora, in this intercultural dynamics of the creole Society of Seychelles.
