Théâtre et professionnalisation des enseignants-débutants

Abstract : This paper presents a short drama experience as part of their teacher training course for primary school teachers in the first year of their careers. It aims at showing that this type of approach can develop both teaching skills and professional practice. Such training periods can be regarded as “another stage” than that of the classroom. Indeed, they enable young teachers to identify and improve some aspects of their professional practice which are often overlooked during their training.
