Medical, social and judicial workers created a network in a medical center in order to rescue young people from regular or abusive addiction to drugs other than alcohol. A treatment center has opened to welcome teenagers and youngsters in distress. The choice of the intervention mode rests on tools geared toward the assessment – including their own – of their addiction and what it means to them. Deeply respectful of some deontology, attention and welcome rules, the monitors seek to create the best conditions of communication and relational confidence. In this perspective, the technique of family system therapy proves itself to be exceptionally fruitful.
