Comment devient-on formateur en IUFM ? Quelles identités pour quels enjeux ?

Abstract : The creation of the IUFMs has led the personnel of the French educational system from various origins and statuses to share in common activities geared toward the professional training of teachers, through unequally identified routes. As socializing areas for those who have shared in training tasks, the IUFMs can be approached as social worlds in an interactionist perspective. The present article means to define the various profiles that may have emerged – or may have been hampered – in a context in which the chances of professionalisation largely depend on educational policies.
