De l’ombre à la lumière des textes d’Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine : éclairage textométrique de deux archétypes

Abstract : H.-F. Thiefaine says the Jungian archetypes are a key for the writing of his songs. Two complementary Jung archetypes are considered : the archetypes of Shadow and of Light. Our text analysis methodology with Tropes allows word counting as well as connecting highly recurring occurrences and leads to a qualitative analysis. These word countings do not constitute any result by themselves but make it possible to start off semantic inquiries in connection with universal stereotypes. Software Tropes and its numerous ways of representing semantic connections shows thematic and psychological leading aspects in Thiefaine’s work from 1978 to 2014. Finally, intertextuality transparence is questioned in Thiefaine’s work.
