Résumé

The paper discusses about a space-polarization diversity scheme in which various space time codes have been applied for 2×2 antennas. Based on the two branch polarization diversity system [W. Lee et al., 1972], a theoretical model is presented for analyzing the system performance under various correlation conditions. The Alamouti scheme has been applied to the space-polarization diversity scheme in order to mitigate the cross-coupling effect and the fading effect. A 8 dB gain is obtained for a BER=10-6 in our proposed scheme.
