The context of globalization invites the Malagasy artists to communicate, to go towards the Other one, by means of the contact of the languages. For some time, the Malagasy musical production popular is invaded by the unconscious implemented (operated) of the « mixed speech » ; what is not ineffective in the representation and the Malagasy collective imagination. Le contexte actuel de mondialisation invite les artistes malgaches à communiquer, à aller vers l’Autre, par le biais du contact des langues. Depuis un certain temps, la production musicale populaire malgache se trouve envahie par la mise en oeuvre inconsciente du « discours mixte » ; ce qui n’est pas sans effet dans la représentation et l’imaginaire collectif malgache. A la fois un outil de communication de masse très réussie mais aussi une source d’incompréhension. Réfléchir sur la problématique du contact des langues notamment le malgache et le français, sur la matérialité de ces contacts, sur les enjeux de telles pratiques et dans l’industrie de la musique malgache et pour la culture malgache nous permettent de nous interroger sur le destin du malgache en quête de statut de « langue nationale ».
