Voix, renoncement pulsionnel et culture

Abstract : The authors of this article endeavour to determinate the conceptual notion of the renouncement of the drive, which Freud situates at the heart of the process of civilization. They uphold the hypothesis that the non-renouncement of the drive could be understood as one of the stakes of the actual discontent in the culture and they propose to study one of its aspects : the vocal dimension, which will be investigated from the myth of Totem and Taboo, proposed by Freud, and the analysis of the stakes of the dispositive of the rave party.
