Espace géométrique complexe : la représentation spatiale chez l'adolescent

Abstract : This research supplies some elements of answer concerning the spatial representations of teenagers oriented to vocational schools in a multicultural context such as in Reunion Island. The complex figure of Rey (FCR-A) is a psychometric tool which essentially aims at facilitating the analysing and interpretation of cognitive, psychological and emotional mechanisms of a subject as they appear in a given paper and the reproduction from memory of a geometrical figure. We will indicate what sort of preferential organisation is used by the young islander from Reunion. Moreover, we will reveal that the age of the individual has no influence on the choice of the strategy of representation and is in no instance pathological.
