Détermination expérimentale des indicateurs de performance des systèmes de climatisation individuels en environnements contrôlés

Abstract : In Reunion Island, air conditioning accounts for about 40% of the island's global electricity consumption. Split systems, which account for a large majority of air-conditioning systems installed in Reunion Island, are most often oversized in relation to the real needs of users. The question therefore arises as to the relevance of using models with a lower power rating that would operate at nominal load rather than an oversized model operating at partial load. In order to measure and limit the impact of electricity consumption due to air conditioning systems, a test bench has been set up so as to characterize the different models available on the Reunion Island market. The aim is to favor the emergence of the most efficient models and thus limit the overconsumption of electricity generated by the least efficient models. First, this paper presents the test bench which simulating thermal needs of a building on the one hand and climatic conditions of Reunion Island on the other hand. The experimental results of four air conditioners, tested on this test bench, are then presented and a comparison of Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) is carried on for different load levels.
