Galilée ou Descartes ? Étude d'un scénario d'introduction historique au calcul des probabilités

Abstract : This prospective article suggests activities based on the study of ancient texts on science and philosophy. Closely related to educational syllabuses it aims to participate in the continuous training of teachers. Indeed, the new syllabuses in maths, from seconde to terminale forms, have imposed a new approach to statistics and probabilities. Besides including historical and epistemological studies, they make it necessary to use simulations, modelisations and teaching software. In the following article we will present a pattern meant for the acquisition of mathematical knowledge associated with probabilities through an initiation to scientific research.
