Quelques observations phraséologiques sur la co-construction des savoirs dans le discours scientifique oral en français

Abstract : This paper presents one of our preliminary observations on the phraseology of spoken French scientific discourse, especially in relation to the theme of “knowledge”. Despite growing interest in this area, spoken register of scientific discourse remains relatively poorly known in French. In this study, we hypothesize that the particularity of speech environment influences how speakers co-construct the knowledge with their addressees in an academic conference presentation. Overall, our results show that the co-construction of knowledge in spoken scientific discourse is carried out by calling for the attention of addressees to some elements, by relying on the knowledge already shared within the scientific community and by structuring the discourse.
